Pays its drivers peanuts and exploits their resources

I have also been ********** by this company. They expect us to use our own cars and resources to deliver their goods without any compensation! We have to cover our own fuel expenses and maintenance on our vehicles AND they deduct our fuel claims from our income which absolutely destroys our earnings! This means that we make no income whatsoever as drivers! And if you do make something, it's a couple of hundred bucks - how on Earth can anyone pay their monthly bills with no income?

I've sunk further into debt from staying with this company. Every month they promised that better days are up ahead, however, nothing realised and came from those promises and as such, I haven't earned an honest income. Again, all I've earned after (fuel deductions) was a couple of hundred rands here and there. The person that's in charge (Melanie Jordaan) also was uncooperative over the phone, interrupted me while I was talking, told me that she's not in the mood to "get into an argument" and put the phone down without giving me the chance to get all my points across. I was hoping to address the flawed business ethics towards ICU drivers and exploitations to her. But her uncooperative attitude only suggests that she's not fit for the job if she's not willing to sort problems out at her company! Disgusting attitude. Such behavior only means that ICU will continue to reel in people with vehicles and continue their flawed business ethics by *********** drivers with their rediculous fuel deductions and empty promises.

I strongly advise any pharmacy group to take caution of ICU's promises - but also take note about their exploitation with employed drivers.

Stay away from ICU!!
