Rude Management @Ice 2000

It’s very unpleasant to deal with rude business People. We have been buying ice for about 6 weeks from Ice2000, and it turned sour very quickly due Mr. Lucky the Owner or Management at Ice 2000.

When I tried to lay a complaint he was the very same person receiving my complaint which is very disappointing because Mr. Lucky has no respect and appreciation for his clients, His Tone is abusive and demeaning ...and when you bring it to his attention he gets livid.

In 2015 his office refused to deliver stock because we do not buy from them during the year when demand is low and I tried to mend the relationship because I understand that business needs to proceed and I cannot fail my business because of a misunderstanding, We have our own machine but need extra ice during peak seasons like December and other festive holidays

On the morning of 27th Dec 2016 Lucky Calls me to ask he can bring my order as I had some units on back order due to storage constraints, I advised that I’m not at the office and will call just after I have confirmed with my office, after calling my office I phone his phone twice within five minutes after speaking to him and went to voicemail and my assumption is that he will get an alert of my phone call. Five minutes later he calls back and reprimands me with a demeaning and abusive tone, I try to calm him down and highlight that I don’t appreciate his tone.

I don’t speak staff , external and internal stakeholders in that tone and felt the need to address it and I probably made things worse as he returned my Sasol Branded Bags empty with no ice that was supposed be on back order.

It’s very sad because his the only source in the Ice industry we know. I appreciated the fact that I can give my branded bags for him to supplier me with stock, and he has been very sufficient in meeting our needs in terms of our stock and I commend him on that, but the problem is mutual respect.

Perhaps business owners don’t feel the need to respect clients because they are making too much money to realize that respect goes further than any penny they are making. Because you build relationships and form long lasting business coexistence . In the long term I would have sold my machine and ordered directly from him as he uses my branded packaging, and it makes business sense to invest in a relationship with him than an unreliable machine when I need it most.

Regards

Tebogo Bongani Van der Berg<br **********
Azasaya Trading cc T/A Sasol Andrew Mapheto
********** 162 / ********** 351
