Cancellation of upgrade

I am so frustrated with MTN and cant possibly recommend them ever. After returning an upgrade device that I wasnt happy with and following their protocol, I am still waiting on cancellation so I can have my upgrade. Meanwhile I am debted with the new amount as if I am using their upgrade. I have phoned on numerous occasions and sent emails to no avail. What recourse do I have please?
