I curse the day I came across icar lifestyle centurion

I wish I had come across the reviews on here before I made the biggest mistake of even calling this dealership and talking to an ********* salesman. I went to view and test drive a vehicle I was interested in and some faults were discovered and pointed out to Abraham who promised they would be fixed by the following day but this then took a whole 6days before the car was delivered, at night! Some of the problems with the car could have been picked up by their mechanic and could have been attended to before the car was even advertised. The following morning I discovered a diesel leak and the steering rack still had problems which were supposed to have been fixed but were seemingly left unattended, there was no explanation for this. I returned the car and requested to cancel but they told me to sign a piece of paper stating that the repairs will be done. My request was flat out ignored and now I'm told to come fetch my car on Monday, another 7 days later. They ignored initial problems on the vehicle. They wasted my time and now do not want to cancel the deal. They flat out failed to repair the vehicle the first time but they expect me to believe it is fixed now.

Stay Away Lifestyle Motors Centurion...this is one star too many for this rating!!!!

About 2 months ago, I found a bakkie on www.carfind.co.za and contacted the dealership – I-Car Lifestyle Motors in Centurion. I dealt with a salesman named Abraham, who was helpful within his limits. We went to test drive the vehicle and pointed out several issues that needed fixing. We were then told to pay in full to “secure” the bakkie because there were other interested buyers — and that the issues would be resolved. Fast forward 2 months later… After countless calls, whatsapps, multiple follow-ups, and 2–3 visits to the dealership trying to get clear answers from management — including Ahmed (the owner/DP), Simon (sales manager), Jackie (PA), and Shiraaz (service manager) — I am STILL without the bakkie that I PAID FOR IN FULL……OR A REFUND FOR THAT MATTER All I’ve received are empty promises, delays, and no accountability. So here’s a warning to anyone in the market for a vehicle: Be extremely cautious when dealing with I-Car Lifestyle Motors. Customers deserve honesty, communication, and delivery — not excuses. @IcarLifestyleMotors – when will this finally be resolved? PLEASE REFUND THE MONEY PAID, YOU CAN KEEP THE LITTLE INTERESTED GENERATED BY MY MONEY!!! #CustomerService #CarBuying #BuyerBeware #SouthAfrica

Icar lifestylemotors Centurion ****mers

I would not recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, they are un scrupulous and don't have any business ethics. We showed interest in a car that was advertised on various platforms. We responded by visiting the dealership and after meeting with the branch manager Simon,he advised us that he will be providing us with an existing warranty which is transferable from the previous owner plus a warranty which was to be added to the deal.He also advised that a Dekra report will be provided and a service will be done. The vehicle in question had semi slick tyres which were already below the point of usage. We agreed should all of this be attended to,we will be interested in making a deal.Since the vehicle is a high end vehicle we wanted to make sure that all was in order. Our finance was prepared and ready for collection. But before we collected we needed to know that everything was in order but to our dismay the red flags popped up.The roadworthy was done via one of their contacts and not via Dekra as promised. We asked for the Dekra and all sorts of excuses started,we asked for the status of the warranty, again more excuses and so it went on.We put a refundable deposit.Simon the branch manager has avoided all our calls and contact because he now cannot deliver on what he advertised and promised. They are in breach of the CPA since what they advertised and what they really say is chalk and cheese. They now refuse to give back our deposit because they say, they polished the car. What a bunch of croooooookkkkks.Stay away unless you ready to loose.

Worst car dealership experiance

The worst car buying experience I've ever had. On the day of viewing the vehicle the battery was flat, in fact it wasn't even the correct one for that vehicle. To small and poles were the wrong way around. Waited for a while so they can find a battery to fit that vehicle. Pointed out other defects that have to fixed before we take the vehicle. Broken door rubber, broken mirror. Obviously, a new battery. We were assured that it will be replaced. We decided to take the vehicle. We arranged for the vehicle to be delivered to us because at the time we couldn't collect it. They agreed. vehicle was delivered but the driver told me that there is a problem with the battery. It left him stranded because the car died and he wasn't able to start it. On inspection I found the terminals completely loose, I could remove them by hand. The actual battery was also loose. Moved around in it's place. I fixed that. The door rubber wasn't replaced either. When I called to ask why they said that they don't know how to. Made me drive all the way to their dealership to show them how to remove it. There was no emergency triangle in the car, which is required by law. Collected it when replacing my own door rubber. Unfortunately, I failed to notice that they never put the intake pipe back in the engine bay. I figured they would when they replaced the battery as you actually have to remove it to gain access to the bolt that holds the battery down. It can be done without removing it but it is cumbersome, less space. Without that pipe the car would perform poorly as it now constantly sucks in hot air from the engine bay instead of cold air from the outside. When I made them aware of it, they say that all the parts were there and it's impossible to be missing. Even after sending a picture of it be missing they still deny it. Now it's a back & forth and getting hold of the manager is impossible. You have a better chance of getting service at a Home Affairs on a Friday afternoon just before closing. We are still waiting for someone to contact us. It's been two weeks now. I regret purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.
