Doing business online is always difficult - there are so many ****s around that it is imperative to be alert for any red flags. this company, found at www.ianc.co.za seems completely legit, until you ask for an invoice. I originally asked for this simple business document, because I was dealing with a couple of websites, and to be honest, I couldn't remember the fees. My red flag popped up when I was informed by Denise that they do not supply invoices because they are not VAT registered, and payment is upfront. I responded honestly, expressing my doubts, and pointing out that an invoice does not have to be a Tax Invoice. I also brought up that it was strange that a law firm was not VAT registered. Denises response was scathing. I admit that I was incorrect on them being a Law Firm, however, I will leave her response here. I am shocked at the response - I know that if my business was questioned, I would not use this method to convince someone I am legit.
