Ian MacGillivray Contractor Bad Experience

<p>I contracted Ian MacGillivray to convert my double garage into a workroom/study. Part of the renovation involved moving an internal drain system to the outside. I don't know if this caused the problem of water pouring down that wall into the room when it rains. He came back four times to "fix" the leakage and it is still leaking, in fact pouring in when it rains. Part of the project also involved installing wooden doors becoming the exit and entrance points to the house. The plaster around the door fell off, he came and repaired it and guess what? It is falling off again.The puttywork around the windows is also very poorly done. I got thoroughly fed up with him and sent him a whatsapp message asking for a 25% refund of the full payment I had paid him so that I could get someone to come and complete the project properly. He agreed to this and asked for my banking details which I provided.The refund amount was R13000. He has now changed his telephone number and ignores my e-mails. No refund has been forthcoming. He lives in the Northriding area and his wife's name is Mandy MacGillivray. I would appreciate it if anyone that knows of him can provide me with his contact details. If anyone is thinking of using his services, I hope you read about my experience. I find it a bit hard to believe a businessman would change his number for R13000 but perhaps this is his modus operandi and he also owes other people money. Some people simply have no conscience.
