I paid in full for i-to-i’s Cambodia TEFL internship expecting the advertised experience: guaranteed placement, up to $1,800/month, and full support. But after payment, I was told I’d only get up to 3 interviews (no job guarantee), the highest salary required a degree (which I don't have), and I'd need to cover visa runs and extra costs never disclosed before purchase. The terms and conditions were sent after my payment, and the 14-day cancellation right was never clearly shown at checkout. When I asked for a refund, I was ignored, dismissed, and threatened with debt collection — despite not accessing any services. I’ve since filed a chargeback, reported them to Citizens Advice (***), Trading Standards, and the ASA for misleading advertising. This company’s conduct has been ********* and deceptive. Be cautious.
