Avoid Them

Let me give you the i-to-i TEFL experience.

1. They will catch your eye because of the discounts they provide, you will sign up, and as soon as you enter your number and before you can submit, they will call you. They will sweet-talk you and tell you everything you need to hear to sign up.

2. You will begin your course and it will go fine until you reach your first assignment. Here is where the fun begins, In my experience, I attempted the first assignment with all the requirements asked of me, I even had another TEFL teacher go over it and I submitted it. The tutors of i-to-i TEFL will nit pick your assignment looking for the smallest reasons to fail you. I then corrected my errors and re-submitted only to be told that something else was wrong and I needed to do it again, but this time if I wanted to re-submit I needed to pay a R400 retake fee.

3. If you're lucky enough to pass and make your way through the course, you will reach UNIT 8 and your second assignment, here everything goes to hell. When you sign up they tell you that they take a week to mark your assignment, but as you progress further into your course, you will come to find out it's a lie. My second assignment took them 4 weeks to mark, only for once again the tutor to nit-pick and find the smallest errors to fail you. I re-submit and surprise they took another 4 weeks to marks.

4.Calling them doesn't work, they will never answer the phone calls, the only time they will ever call you is when you're signing up. Live chat is even worst, the worker Justina and Selena have no idea what they are doing, and will give you the most one sentenced answer and end the chat before you can reply back.

5. As soon as you sign up, you are given at least 4 months to finish the course, which may seems like a long time, but they will drag your assignment marking and answering your e-mails for so long that will have to pay more money to extend your course. My last assignment took them 1 month to mark, and if you fail that's another month they will take.

In summary, I wish I never signed up with them. it was a time waster and money draining. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
