DO NOT USE I MOVES SA - TRUCK DOES NOT ARRIVE

We booked a move with I Moves SA mid-November 2022 for my daughter and son-in-law, who were moving from Durban to Johannesburg on 21 December 2022. Enock confirmed via email that the truck would be there at 12 noon on the 21st. I explained in no uncertain terms that they had to be there as early as possible as my daughter and her husband were travelling to Joburg after the loading. I asked for contract documents and an invoice - he informed me that payment is made before delivery. That should have been a warning sign! Enock sent a whatsapp at 11:50 on the 21st to say the truck would be late. To cut a very long and extremely frustrating story short.....the truck NEVER ARRIVED!!! I tried calling Enock to find out what was going on between 12 and 4pm - he answered the first few times but the ignored or cut my calls. I sometimes got an 'I will call you back" auto text response. I also called Lloyd during this time, whose cell number is on their website. He thankfully gave me TT Mpahlele's number as the manager, but he apparently just joined I Moves SA (TT, if you are reading this find yourself a better company to work for!). TT tried his best to assist but after my husband also tried to find out what was actually going on, if there was indeed a truck booked as confirmed, or if the company even existed at all, we gave up. I called Master Movers first thing on the 22nd December and they thankfully could assist with arranging a truck to load that afternoon. How can a company operate like this? Are they even operating???? We still have received no correspondence nor phone calls from anyone at I Moves SA. I did try find out who the owner / manager / director is and nobody seems to know. I was told it is someone living in Australia! Anyone looking to move, DO NOT USE I MOVES SA. They have to rank as the MOST AWFUL company to deal with.
