Pressure tactics

The process started well, until I was approved. I was not pleased with being told there's other customers who want to buy the car, what does that have to do with me. If they had decided to sell it to another customer i would have went and looked for another car elsewhere, they were not the only dealership selling what I was looking for. I know I'm not the only one eyeing the car, this tactic statement as a form of putting pressure on me as a customer i didn't appreciate. If someone else wants the car sell it! Don't tell me there's other customers. Another attitude i picked up is that you will brief your sales person what you want, then the financing person will go and do the opposite, when you communicate what you want they tell you that the financing lady is not preview to the conversation i had with the sales person, what does that have to do with me. If there's communication issues at the dealership may it not be my problem as customer. I don't want to sound like a scratched CD. The sales person should capture things the way I would have advised. They hate when you negotiate a chance to better deal, they want you to take whatever its that you are being offered. Which is wrong especially if you have worked really hard to build and maintain your credit score, you deserve a better rate don't settle for anything more than what you think you deserve even if it means losing the car to another customer. If you can apply for your own car financing.
