BAD experience with Hyundai Weltevreden Park.

I took my accent for a service. I was quoted beforehand R6700-00. The car was booked in (03-09-26) and later that day i was called to say that the brakes and battery needs replacing. I asked with the service, how much would this all be. I was told R7900-00. I couldn't believe it. I asked again are you sure that this is everything included because i am unemployed and cannot afford anything else. They said yes. After i hung up, i typed them a message on their whatsapp number confirming the price for everything, R7900-00. They did not reply to my message. On the 04-09-26, when i went to collect my car they hit me with a bill of approximately R15000-00. My subsequent discussions with them had no success. They even denied my message confirming the quoted price. When i realized i was getting no where i offered to pay the extra off monthly. They refused and said it was against company policy. We were forced to borrow money just so that we could get our car. The only thing i can say in their favor is they eventually discounted the price by R800-00. My advice to anyone dealing with Hyundai Weltevreden Park is get everything in writing because their word is meaningless and they would rather side with their *********** staff than listen to you.
