Horrible service from Hyundai Roodepoort.

I took my vehicle in for a normal service on 22 June 2021. After collecting my vehicle whilst driving home, it had no power. Arriving home, I switched the engine off. I tried to start it a couple of minutes later, but it would not start. I phoned the dealership, and the workshop manageress and a technician came to my house with a diagnostic computer, but could not find the fault. I had my vehicle towed to the dealership the following morning, at my cost. After 3 days they phoned me and said the ECU was faulty and it will cost me R48890,00, as they have to order it from the manufacturers in Korea. I have paid a deposit of R15000,00 immediately so they can order the part. After numerous phone calls, whats app messages and emails between myself and the dealership and head office in South Africa, they could not give me an answer as to when the part will arrive in South Africa. I have decided to have my vehicle towed back to my house on 15 September 2021, as the dealership informed me that Korea could not supply the part and they had the ECU at 3 places already for repair, without success. At this stage my vehicle was out of order for 86 days, almost 3 months. When I got my vehicle back from Hyundai Roodepoort, it was full of dust inside and outside with some engine panels on the front passenger seat and rear seat without any protective cover between seats and panels. The cubby-hole lid was dislodged and was hanging loose. I was absolutely shocked to see my vehicle in such a terrible state, as my wife and I look after our vehicle as if it was one of our children - always neat and clean and in mint condition. A friend told us about Ricky's Auto Electrical in Heriotdale who can repair a damaged ECU. I had my vehicle towed to them the following morning. They have sent me a picture clearly showing water marks on the inside of the ECU. The only way and place water could have gotten into the ECU was at Hyundai Roodepoort when they washed the engine after the service. Ricky's was able to repair the damaged ECU within 18 days, and I got my vehicle back from them clean. I approached Hyundai South Africa with evidence that there was water damage to the ECU - it went in for a service healthy that morning and I got it back that same afternoon dead. I requested a refund from Hyundai Roodepoort for the repair costs of the ECU, towing costs and Uber costs for me to fetch my vehicle from Ricky's, which amounted to R 10178,50. My request was denied. I am absolutely disappointed in the service I received from Hyundai Roodepoort.
