Mislead of car sales

I requested a quote on a Ford ambient 2020 from Hyundai Pinetown. Recieved and sent off quote promtly to my banker at standard bank within minutes was approved. Within a day consistently speaking to sales man from Hyundai Pinetown confirming my interest to purchase. Called him up from Pietermaritzburg to inform him I'm on my way and asked him for directions. 10min before reaching their showroom called salesman. Upon my arrival at the showroom was informed the car was sold. Was pushed to buy another vehicle. Is this ethically correct... Can salespeople mislead customers... Manager was called the next day.. Apologized and stated this has happened before... So b careful and wary of such servicr
