Dissatisfaction
I have purchased a 2020 Hyundai Atoz from the Hyundai Edwin Swales branch back in June 2020. The vehicle was purchased as a Demo model, 2 weeks after purchasing the vehicle I found that there was issues with the passenger side front door where the lock should not open, and the vehicle was leaking. I had taken the vehicle back to the dealership and was advised it was inspected and nothing seems to be wrong with it and that I should use the spare key and remote. Which does not make sense if the vehicle is a new vehicle. I was given dealership plates and a license for the vehicle was going to expire in December 2020.i was advised I have from June till December for them to sort out the license and provide me with my own license and disc. During these months I had taken the vehicle back to the dealership on 4 different occasions regarding the same issue the remote and the door. On the 18 of December the vehicle was taken in again for the remote, service and COR and licensing. I was then told the warranty on the alarm system in the car has expired and there is nothing that they can do about it. After the vehicle COR and license was done on the 18 of December I was advised within 2 weeks I would receive the disc. It's know 2 months and I still have not received it. I had to drive around for an entire month with an unlicensed vehicle, being stopped by the police on many occasions. I had then gone to the branch again on the 30th of January 2021 and met with the manager of the Branch Raj who provide me with permit plates valid for 21 days and was reassured I would have my license and disc in a weeks time. Its know 2 and half weeks later and I still do not have my license, and the permit disc expires on the 19 of February which is tomorrow. I have contacted the sales assistant who had provided me with details of the person in charge of doing the licensing for all cars at the branch. I have tried contacting him with no response and then 1 day ago I was advised by him that the COR on the vehicle has expired. I have requested to speak to the manager who stated I would receive a call by EOB 17/02 which did not happen. In the 18th which is today I received a message from the sales assistant advising the manager will be contacting me, upon receiving the call from the Manager who was very unprofessional from the start advised me he will fetch the vehicle the next day and have the issue sorted out for me, not even checking with me if it is going to be convenient for myself to be without the car for an entire day. Upon questioning him as to what compensation he would provide to me for all the running around and issues faced over the last couple months which is the fault on the dealership I was advised that no company will just take money and gave away for no good reason, so clearly customers does not come 1st at this place which is so upsetting. While speaking to him, my partner then took over the call as he could see we was not going forward with anything cause Raj being a manager did not have any solution which was going to benefit me the customer due to all the issues faced. Upon Raj speaking to my partner he was firstly very rude and coke towards my partner and has no communication skills or people skills what so ever. He then advised my partner the only thing we want is to get free things out of them, it's that the way to speak to a customer when the fault is on the dealership which u a manager in. My partner then requested for his details and his Manger details and we was then advised the manager higher then him is Len however he does not know all the details neither does he know the last name of his manager, while my partner trying to obtain further details from him, he hung up on us. Which in turn caused us to drive all the way to the dealership which is around 32 kms away from where we live. Upon arriving there and requesting to speak to Raj who then refused to speak to us and when requesting to speak the manager higher then him Len we was told he is at a totally different branch all together. We was then assisted by the used car manager who was able to provide us with a solution and an outcome with regards to get what needs to be done. The services received after purchasing the vehicle was poor and pathetic. Hyundai will definitely loose our business in the further, especially seeing that most of my family and friends drives Hyundai. The experience received from someone who suppose to be a manager, however has no communication or people skills was poor and pathetic. I hope as they advised the issue will be sorted out by Monday latest it is sorted out. Being a female driver driving around at odd times due to work with an unlicensed vehicle is not safe being stopped by police. I sincerely hope my review is looked into and actions are taken, I would not want any other customer who trust the brand expericing the same problems I'm experiencing
