Hyundai Brackenfell - Bad Service/Sales Experience

My experience with Hyundai Brackenfell is most probably the worst experience ever at this point in time. I had a brand-new Hyundai i10 that I traded in 2 years after I had it for a 2021 Venue Motion that was sold to me under false pretense as the dealership confirmed via WhatsApp chat that the vehicle was a demo model but now the chats is deleted and there is no detail of any information via WhatsApp as this was the official source for discussion and communication. A few weeks ago, when I enquired about the fact that my car is not being serviced properly as there is a persisting issue with the clutch that never gets resolved even after each service, I was told by the sales manager Russel Haley who is the sales manager that he will offer me a new vehicle and it never materialized as they afterwards told me that the shortfall on the vehicle is too high and the dealership is not willing to accommodate me in any way. The clutch issue was ignored, no resolution and no one ever returned my numerous calls and messages that I left for Andre Rhoodie who is the service manager, when we contacted him in this week after the car broke down, he said he was not aware of any of the agreements or suggestions that was presented to us by Russel Haley. I found out that the service book has missing information, and that the vehicle had a previous owner. The vehicle is showing clear signs that the tires that I paid for as new tires is worn off and shows signs of old tires that was fitted onto new rims, the wiper blades look like it was repaired and paint is peeling off where it was welded -amongst other things it only now make sense to me why certain things in the car was in the condition that it was when I received the car ...like the back board was broken when I received it and it was then replaced when I contacted the branch and the carpets was worn out and one was mounted into the floor and also had to be taken out and replaced, there were small dents and scratches on the car also. At the time when I received the car I honestly didn't expect to be misled as I trusted that it was a demo model that was only used for test driving and maybe used by the sales agent. Currently the vehicle is booked in at the Service Centre in Belville branch as on Saturday 30 March 25,the car just stopped working in the middle of the busy main road and there was no warning signs, no flickering lights to indicate that there is a problem on the car...it just does not want to start and we are now stranded without a vehicle ,without a curtesy car as we were told the dealership no longer offer curtesy cars but the Manager Andre at Hyundai Brackenfell said he gave his company car a client that is also stranded without a vehicle for a long period -so how is it that they can accommodate one client but not another client in the same situation. We don't have any means of transportation, and this is the only vehicle that we had to use for our kids to take them to and from school in the week to come amongst other day to day uses. I am so disappointed as I have had so many cars and even older cars than the model that I have now and never did I experience this kind of service and treatment from Management and staff and I feel like no one is willing to assist me. I am waiting to hear from the service center to confirm what the issue is with the car besides the clutch problem, and it was towed there 4 days ago and was promised to receive feedback by yesterday latest and still no one has contacted me as promised. I have formally lodged a complaint to the Ombudsman against Hyundai Brackenfell as I'm paying for a vehicle every month that is no longer working and is giving me endless problems. The dealerships Management is not helpful and willing to assist me with my issue and I feel like I am treated with the utmost disrespect and therefore I'm also bringing to light my situation on this platform to make others aware and to really be vigilant when you buy a Vehicle ,to consider all aspects of the sale and to keep record of Agreements and Chats and Emails as people are ruthless and heartless when it comes to after sale service and assisting the consumer as we are all just another sales number on the board at the end of the day.

In my opinion if the Management at Hyundai were sincerely an awesome team with great work ethics ,then they would have by now either have sorted out my first issue with the clutch, given me a courtesy vehicle to use while they were busy fixing my car and/or given me a new vehicle or relooked at the amount they have overcharged and misled me on this vehicle and remunerated me according to correct values. That's the least they could have done but unfortunately none of these things were even considered to begin with and I am now stranded without a car that I am paying for over R6k per month in this state of the economy.
