Uncovered vehicle parts in the warranty but stated in writing

I bought a brand new grand creta executive with 7 years warranty and service plan. Now I receive calls from liquid finance that in that warranty plan some of the mechanical issues are not covered now I must take a cover for that. Why was I not told on the day of purchase? Are there any hidden skeletons that I must be revealed? I love the vehicle but this I am not prepared to tolerate.
