ONE WAY TO LOSE A CUSTOMER!

I purchased a new vehicle from this Hyundai branch 7 years ago, could not get over how good the service was. However, I cannot say the same about my recent experience, with their service department specifically. I recently took the vehicle in as there was a terrible noise coming from the front of the vehicle. I was quoted R6035.00 to have some work done. After making extra debt in order to pay for this work, I took the vehicle in to be fixed. As soon as I got home from the service, I heard that noise again, me not being a mechanic, I thought it was because the parts were new and that noise would fade, it only got louder within the week. I took the vehicle back the next Saturday, only to be told by a "manager" of some sorts, named Tshepo, that he found absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle and could not hear the noise I was talking about. May I add that he had SUCH a ****y attitude, customer service level 0!!!! I made him drive with me to hear what I heard and miraculously he heard the noise.... said to me that I needed to book my vehicle in during the week so that they could investigate the problem. THE PROBLEM THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INVESTIGATATED THE FIRST FEW TIMES I HAD BROUGHT THE VEHICLE IN.......BUT ANYWAYS. I was told to phone another "manager" named Brian, to discuss a way forward and additional costs which may come up..... I phoned Brian, struggled to get hold of him, eventually got an email address for Brian and YET ANOTHER "MANAGER" named Siya, so I sent an email about my complaint and got a response quite quickly. Brian arranged to fetch my vehicle from my workplace as I was not going to take time off of work to compensate for their incompetence. Fetched my vehicle an hour later than he said he would, also had an attitude like his fellow colleague. During the day I got a message from Brian also saying he could not hear any noise HOWEVER they would tighten & lubricate some stuff up and hopefully the noise should go away. Ja right. Although Brian and I had been communicating via whatsapp and email, I got a call from one of the ladies in the service department, telling me I needed new front brake pads.... how incredible that they didn't pick this up the last few times the vehicle came to them, but I suppose, they couldn't charge me for the noise that no one else could hear, they had to make money somewhere. Returned my vehicle to me, unwashed even though we were told the vehicles have to be pre-washed and then washed after the work is done. Brian shows up at my workplace to drop the car off, says to me "Ja so are you gonna have the brakes done by us?"........... WHERE IS YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ETIQUETTE???? I'm speaking as a person who has worked in a customer service role for the past 11 years!!!! I sent an email the next day to let the "MANAGERS" know that the noise was still there and I was deeply dissatisfied with the service and treatment received. I've yet to receive any response, however, I don't stop receiving calls from other employees begging me to trade in my vehicle and ask me how my recent experience was with Hyundai........ I guess you only get treated with respect when you're wanting to buy a new vehicle so people can get their commission. 🤘🏻 Needless to say, for as long as I own a Hyundai, I will NEVER return to this branch again, I will take my business to Hyundai East Rand as they seem to know how to handle customers with care. This deplorable service has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I am actually considering changing my brand of vehicle all together. Really this is ridiculous and absolutely disgusting. You guys need to go on a few more courses to learn what it is to be manager and stop giving Hyundai a bad name. Thanks for nothing guys. Really.🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
