Owe Money!?

I was under debt review in 2013, but i cancelled this as my accounts had doubled by then, the arrangements they had made on my behalf had doubled some of my accounts due to higher interest rates. I paid the PDA fees of R57 , but once i had cancelled debt review and they no longer had to distribute monies on my behalf i did not worry with it again.

This morning i received a call from a lawyers office and they informed me about this, i was so shocked, i could probably have handled it better, but i told the lady she must tell them they are crazy "i know could have handled it better". but then she told me that and i quote "is this what you are going to tell all the people that phone you, because they will phone, you are rude that's why you are still in debt ""*** off man" her words not mine.

They can't just phone you out of the blue and expect you to accept that they saying you owe them money, its not right.

I don't know what to do, but i refuse to accept that i owe them anything, why have they not tried to contact me before? why did they just hand me over and expect me to pay monies i was not even aware of.

If anyone has advice for me please give me some?

Thanks
