I Purchased a voucher for a Diagnostic test, on my vehicle , which I have chosen TW Auto in Randburg as advertised on their site , Tw Auto accepted the call and came out to do the diagnostic , but the reason for the diagnostic was just for the jerking of the car , could be gearbox oil or over acceleration , been it is an automatic , so by clearing the codes , it knocked off the Power steering pump, on The Mini Cooper , client tried yes he did try to fix but knew nothing of how to fix his problem after stripping the power steering pump, he was scared to open the side of the pc board section which he suspected could of blown , put it back in, and said he will check for one - the car now drives without power steering which was working and never gave up under any condition, till today been the 3rd weekend no news on how he would sort the problem but advise me of R5.500 to 6000.00 for a 2nd hand pump, -many had complained about after clearing the codes as per him that it stops certain parts of car to work , he mentioned to me a client stopped him from clearing the codes as well , becoz of that so knowing their is a problem with your machine you still go on using it , WHY? is it set to do that for revenue OR???? reason why do we go to this length is that we cant afford the right way (Agents) and these guys are RMI registered , to carry out and guarantee work , but now I have no vehicle to use I tried driving without power steering its not the same as old cars , this is too tight even on bends , how can we re- solve this without over compensating , i'm prepared to pay R2000.00 towards that 2nd pump, seems that he keeps saying that its a common problem with that pumps , I did send an enquiry to Hyperli but waiting reply of resolution
