Disgusting customer service from heartless agent
I feel almost sick to my stomach at the exchanges I have had to go through with an agent named Chancel today.
I had 2 meal vouchers that i didnt use due to an unexpected death in the family. I mailed to explain and was told I can only get a refund if i request it 1 mnth after purchase. Ok.. listen. I didnt KNOW my dad was going to die? HOw was i going to request a refund based on this unknown thing?
I wasnt in town to use the vouchers.. and anyway, when grieving.. im not exactly thinking of eating a veggie burger in camps bay!
I didnt neccessarily EXPECT a refund.. i just requested one, thinking the company can sometimes show grace to a person. But the way this person responded was SO cold and hearless.
At the very minimum.. TEACH YOUR AGENTS how to show kindness. A simple ""we are so sorry to hear of your loss but unfortunately our policy states xyz'' but the back and forth i have had with this person actually disgusts me.
Also. I spend a fair amount with Hyperli..and i am sure from time to time ''policy'' can be forgotten to show some grace to a customer?
MY SECOND QUERY - same thing, I PROVE to them tht i DID try get the coucher used but the seller didnt reply to me.. and then shortly after I had to deal with the loss and so never tried the seller again until this weekend where they IGNORED me agan.
But again i am told... ''the policy says you can only get a refund after a month'
but this one i DID try contact the seller??
Since i was so annoyed i told them to please refund the R1760 purchase i made this saturday.. they simply send me a link to do it.. not even TRY to save some business. Its laughable really. The wildest, most psycopath kind of response. lol. They might as well hire a robot.
