I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering HyperionDev. I enrolled in a course and requested a refund on the same day—before accessing any material—under South Africa’s 7-day cooling-off period (as protected by the ECTA). Despite complying with the law and receiving early acknowledgement from their team, my refund was eventually denied after months of waiting and follow-up.

Their policy of a 60-working-day refund delay is excessive and unacceptable, and their terms and conditions attempt to override legal consumer rights. What’s more concerning is that their courses are marketed under a Stellenbosch University-branded website, giving the impression of formal endor*****t, which heavily influenced my decision to enroll.

If you’re considering HyperionDev, I urge you to read all fine print and be aware that your rights as a consumer may not be respected.
