Software Engineering Bootcamp

From deciding which course to start with, to the actual onboarding of my Software Engineering Bootcamp, I found the HyperionDev team to be committed, honest and so helpful. (Shout out to Marlon who got in touch with me and guided me in making the best decision for myself) I participated in the 6 month Part Time Online Bootcamp. Access to my learning materials was straight forward and simple, ready for me to start and plan in my own time, what made this experience extremely exciting, was finally being exposed to HyperionDevs student network which allowed me to engage with other learners in the same Bootcamp remotely, as well as being able to see what other students in other boot camps are tasked with, which garnered me the opportunity to learn from peers who had almost no experience in coding at all, as well as gain access to some really fun events, such as “Coding Nights” and having such an awesome support network with various ways to get in contact with a Mentor. I had started my self-learning programming journey prior to joining however I truly felt that there was a big foundation missing in the way I understood and interpreted Python coding language. At the end of my course, I can confidently say that I have a more thorough understanding not only in Python, but in other languages too such as Java, HTML and CSS. In less than 6 months, I was able to complete my Bootcamp with an average of 99%. I really optimised my resources which unlocked my underlying passion and potential for programming, and I find myself creating more complex, intelligent programs. What tops this experience off, especially being that I have only been exposed to work roles that fell under operations and leadership, HyperionDev went the extra mile to help induce me into the industry.
