Lack of Transparency and Ongoing Dispute Between HyperionDev and Manati

I am posting this review in the hope of receiving a clear and documented explanation regarding an ongoing dispute involving both HyperionDev and Manati. I enrolled in a HyperionDev course financed through Manati. After deciding to withdraw, my enrolment cancellation with HyperionDev was successfully processed. Despite this, I am now being held liable by Manati for approximately R25,000. My primary concern is transparency. I requested a detailed statement from HyperionDev showing exactly how any outstanding administrative fees were calculated in accordance with their terms and conditions. To date, I have not received a proper itemized statement that clearly explains the amount allegedly owed. As a consumer, I believe I am entitled to understand how any charges are calculated before being expected to pay them. The situation is further complicated by information provided by Manati indicating that they pay HyperionDev on a monthly basis. Based on this information, it appears that the full course amount had not yet been paid to HyperionDev at the time my enrolment was cancelled. However, despite the successful cancellation and the apparent absence of a full payment to HyperionDev, I am still being held liable for the full amount of approximately R25,000. I have repeatedly sought clarity, supporting documentation, and a breakdown of the charges. Instead of receiving straightforward answers, I have encountered delays, conflicting explanations, and a lack of transparency from both parties. My questions remain simple: What specific amount is owed to HyperionDev, and how was it calculated according to the signed terms and conditions? Why am I being held liable for the full amount when my enrolment was successfully cancelled? If Manati had not yet paid the full course fees to HyperionDev, how has the amount of R25,000 been determined? Why has a detailed statement not been provided despite multiple requests? I am requesting that both HyperionDev and Manati provide a full written breakdown of all charges, payments made, payments outstanding, and the contractual basis for holding me liable for the amount claimed. Until this information is provided, I cannot regard this matter as fair, transparent, or properly resolved. I am prepared to escalate this matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities should a satisfactory explanation and supporting documentation not be provided.
