Paid in Full for Exhaust System – No Delivery After 6 Weeks, Refund Refused

On 28 May, I paid Hybrid Tuning in full for a Viper exhaust system for my Toyota Fortuner. I was advised that the expected lead time would be 7–9 days. Today is 14 July, and I still have not received the exhaust system or even been provided with a confirmed delivery date. Since making payment, I have followed up with Hybrid Tuning on numerous occasions. Each time I have been given a different explanation for the delay. Initially, I was told that my payment had not been correctly allocated at Viper Exhausts. Later, I was informed that the fabricator was off sick. After another follow-up, I was told that Viper Exhausts did not have the required flanges to complete the system. After waiting well beyond the promised delivery timeframe, I requested a full refund on 29 June via both email and WhatsApp. My refund request has been refused, and I have instead been told that a 70% "non-refundable deposit" applies. This is despite the fact that I paid in full, have not received the product, and no delivery date has ever been confirmed. Because I could not continue waiting indefinitely, I was forced to purchase and install another exhaust system elsewhere. Hybrid Tuning's failure to deliver left me with no practical alternative. I have been patient, communicated respectfully throughout, and given Hybrid Tuning every opportunity to resolve this matter. Instead, I have received repeated delays, changing explanations, and a refusal to return my money. At this point, I no longer want the exhaust system. I am requesting a full refund of the amount I paid, as Hybrid Tuning has failed to deliver the product within the agreed timeframe and has still not supp**** it more than six weeks later. I hope Hybrid Tuning resolves this matter promptly by refunding me in full.
