Hussar Grill Morningside, Sandton

Last Thursday my family of 6 went to Hussar Grill in the Morningside Shopping Centre, Sandton. The service was really good but three of our steak meals were really disappointing. First of all, they arrived cold - if we were to send them back they would have arrived overcooked as one was a rare and the other two were medium rare and we all know that if you reheat a piece of meat it will be overcooked. Secondly, the rump steaks were tough, no matter how we tried to cut with or against the grain. Had to ask for steak knives which did not really help to cut the steaks. I must admit the person who had the chicken, raved about it and the other two who had steaks with a sauce were reasonably satisfied with their meals. For an upmarket steak restaurant it was a really disappointing experience, this is the second time we've been disappointed so don't think we'll be going back again, unless it's for the chicken! As previously mentioned, the waitress was really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
