NO PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

The company name is Frontier Power Products, with branches in Harding, Kokstad and Munster. They are Husqvarna agents and purport to provide repair services for Husqvarna products. I took my Husqvarna lawn tractor to them as it had a fuel starvation problem that I had been unable to rectify with my limited mechanical knowledge. They were unable to rectify the problem after two attempts and, in fact, the unit is far worse now than it was before they touched it. It was totally apparent to me that their mechanic knows little or nothing about these units. Both the manager, Apollo, and the mechanic, Shorty, told me that they had extensively tested the machine and "cut grass all around Munster with it". This seems to be highly improbable, as the machine only managed 16 metres of grass cutting at my home the first time around before quitting, and couldn't get further than 6 metres or so after their second attempt. I certainly wouldn't recommend that you waste your time or money with these guys. I also asked their sales rep to phone me with an estimated price for a brand new unit. I'm stlll waiting for his call, but after their second futile repair attempt, I wouldn't buy one from them anyway, as service back up is so important on this type of equipment.
