People On A Massive Power Trip

So my fiance and I app**** to adopt a husky puppy from this rescue and after the emails went back and forth for some time eventually our home check was postponed because we can't have double gating put in our yard. We rent our home and had already put other measures in place to compensate for this but these measures were never heard or listened to. Furthermore, we also adopted a boerboel cross puppy from another place and were told that we couldn't have the husky we wanted because they wouldn't match up well. How can anyone possibly know this without letting the two dogs meet each other? And how can this \rescue"dismiss us without meeting us at all? It seems to me that they view their dogs and the people trying to adopt as numbers on a page and not as living creatures. To me this is entirely unacceptable and I do feel that our side was never heard and they really didn't care about what kind of people we are. So what if we don"
