Brand backup ?

I have a pair of Hush Puppies bought while I was in Saudi Arabia as they were so very comfortable and have been keeping them until required. I have now worn them at most about 15 times and have now discovered that the soles are pulling away from the uppers. An e-mail to Hush Puppies SA has been unanswered but when I called the head office in JHB I was informed that they would not accept responsibility as the shoes had not been bought locally and I understood that I was to contact the original suppliers - what a prospect!
