Mail order! Paid upfront, no stock, no refund.

I paid for an order with Hunt Online (trading as The Red Expedition) for some goods to the value of R936.00 which was out of stock. Koot Le Roux emailed me to say that it was out of stock and he will refund me my money back in April. I have been trying to contact him via email, SMS, whatsapp and phoning him and am unable to get hold of him. Does this company still exist or is it a ****?
