over charging for something i dont require
When into a so called bmw specialists service centre (Hunters Fitment) with a knocking sound coming from my x5 bmw front drivers size wheel. They informed me that I needed to replace my upper and lower control arms, ball joints etc. Ata cost of over R14.000 using second hand parts or recons parts. I informed them I would think about it. I decided to get a second opinion from a fitment centre in Edenvale, there quote, without seeing the vehicle, would be R11.000 for new parts. I then took my vehicle to my local mechanic, he informed me, that there was nothing wrong with the control arms etc. But it was the wheel bearings and the cv joints. therefor I had my vehicle repaired at a cost less than R5.000. Also Hunters sold me a radio some time ago for my bmw. but sold me the wrong one. Emailed and spoke to someone called Colleen who said that she would get back to me. STILL WAITING
