Pathetic Service from Jesmine

Myself and my girlfriend went for the first time to Hungry Lion in Cape Gate mall as the service that I received from their other branches is pretty decent.

We were in for a shoc****

Their were two employees assisting one customer and eventually we were assisted by Jesmine. As I started telling her our order, she abruptly just walked away without a word, not even looking up at us. We stood confused as to what happened. She deemed it more important to assist the customer and her collegue who she was helping before she eventually made her way to us.

As we stood there bewildered as to what just happened, another employee called us to take our order. As we did not know Jesmine's whereabouts, we proceeded giving our order to the lady who upheld the service standards of Hungry Lion.

Jesmine came back and abruptly called us to her till to complete our order with her. When we told her that we are placing our order with her colleague. She then started shouting at the person who was helping us. I told her that she just walked away from us with no explanation and I wasnt interested in her helping me, she uttered the: "Los ma, die mense is ombeskof"

Who gives her the right to speak to customers like that especially when she was in the wrong. When I questioned her as to what she just said, she ignored me and waved her at me in a dismissive fashion.

I asked several times for her manager and she totally ignored my request. I had to ask the lady taking our order to call the manager.

When the manager, Maritsa, came and I started explaining, she kept interrupting with snide and rude remarks and even laughed at us, even though she was busy "helping" another customer.

When Maritsa reprimanded her, she continued to laugh at us and her manager and continued with her rude comments.

Seeing that we were not getting anywhere, we decided to walk away, without ever having the cahance to place our order and eat somewhere else.

It's sad that one person by the name of Jesmine, can tarnish the name of a Hungry Lion
