Costumer service at Middelburg - Rude staff / Rude Manger

15 July 2023, 18:44 I ordered a wing feast meal at Hungry Lion Middelburg Mpumalanga, the lady a the till kindly told me to wait a few mi While they prepare my meal. So I proceeded to buy some of my necessary items next door at shoprite, which took less than 5min.

Right after my time at shoprite, I went back to hungry Lion and patiently waited while they prepared my meal. There where two other costumers after me woke one order just the regular recieve pieces of chicken and one ordered the same meal as me (wing Feast).

After a few minutes the last costumer which I assume was number 472 got up started complaining about time and how he needed to leave and rudely asked for his refund. The manager was called and he asked the costumer to wait a few minutes.

Right when one meal was ready, they guy that bought food after all of us ( no 472) recieved his meal and left. May I please mention again that, he ordered after us, and he ordered the same meal as me.

When I approached the till and asked how is that even possible. I waited for so long for my order and did not complain but one person come through and complains about time is being rendered to first. The mangers ignored me and just walked away. What is worse is that one worker rudely asked me why did I come to the store late, they want to go home cause I'm not important.

No one seemed to explain to me how am I getting my order after everyone else especially the customer that come after two orders and ordered the same meal as mine.

The stuff just went on and continued with cleaning and one that the back also mumbled "customers are crazy" and the others laughed. Finally got my order at 19:25

I'm deeply disappointed and disgusted by the service and that the managers did not uphold the "the customer is always right" principle. I do refuse to take this lying down because I have always been a loyal customer of your company, and I have deep respect for waiters, waitresses, delivery people, janitors and etc. And I'm sure they can attest that I never rushed them, I just sat there and waiting quietly for my order . so I refuse to be treated like this by an employee.
