<p>We often hear stories about brokers *****ing people over but this time I was on the receiving end. On the 15th of May I took up an insurance not knowing that it was through brokers called Ubersure. Nonetheless I canceled the insurance and ended the relations with the broker as well as the insurance from Quicksure part of Old Mutual a day or two days later. But a few days later they sent a debit order which was coupled with registration fees of R 1200.00 which I reversed and had to pay bank charges. I resent them the cancelation and a guy called to advise me that I'm still liable to pay the R1200.00 despite canceling the insurance which I objected to. On the 13th of this month they sent me an sms stating that they will debit my account for the admin fees once again. But I rep**** to their message saying that I will take them to the cleaners and then reverse the debit. That warning fell on def ears. As I write this review I have filed papers to the ombudsman reporting the incident which also involves Old Mutual. Needless to say that I have had to pay bank fees totaling over R 300.00 which is a very t***** issue. So be warned don't ever use Ubersure/Quicksure or Old Mutual for that matter.</p> <p> </p>
