Not happy with their services

We rented a townhouse "Sagewood Villas" managed by huizmark group in Annlin, we occupied the place 1 April 2021, we paid a deposit of R9040 to the agent, initially the place had faults that were not resolved when we started renting, some faults were resolved after constant following up with owner through the agent. we received a document indicating that the property is for sale as per judgement obtained at the high court on the 4th of May 2021, which is a month after occupying the space. The document further indicated that the property will be sold in execution on the 17th of September 2021 at 11 am by sheriff Tshwane North. The judgement from the high court came as a shock to both us and the agents, the documents were delivered on the 6th of August 2021, from the May ruling. on the 11th of August, we received communication that people will be onsite inside our yard to install Security cameras, on the 12th of August contractors came to install them without any prior arrangement from the owner or agent, this again came as a shock, we have dogs inside our yard, communication was essential in this case, the owner again was unaware of this arrangement from the body corporate. there is a fireplace where our dogs would climb due to kids or strangers peeking over the wall, the dogs would climb to protect the perimeter, a trustee was sent to complain about the dogs from one of the neighbours, spikes were installed on the tiles by the trustees, this was again discovered later that it was not communicated to the owner. Due to the uncer*****ies surrounding the issue with the property, we decided to look for alternative accommodation, as we have kids that need stability, the agents are refusing to return the whole deposit due to the damaged tiles by the trustees, this was not our decision and we continuously communicated this issue with the agents via email, where the owner insists we replace all the tiles, we tried to the best of our ability to repair the holes on the tiles but the owner was still adamant that these be replaced, we are in constant communication with the agents who are not able to release the full deposit as the owner is not responding to any emails that we sent to the agents, he is also not responding to the emails that the agents are sending him. We are in financial distress due to the owner's negligence on this issue, we had to borrow money to move at the eleventh hour. Apparently, this is not the first time the house was put up for auction due to non-payment by the owner, the agent is responsible for doing background checks of the owners to ascertain whether they are legitimate and trustworthy,
