Huizemark (Huizemark Property Group) is a BIG NO GO ZONE! DAY Light ******s

Will never recommend anyone to deal, rent or buy from Huizemark... I recently had one of the worst experiences with them, contract was drown up and yet they still don't follow the lease agreement which they have generated; luckily for me, I took the time to go through my lease agreement so that I understand what I put myself into.

long story short: I leased a property from the Huizemark in October 2019 and was asked to pay Double Deposit for everything: Keys, rent, water, remote gate... all was double deposit, I had no knowledge of what the intention was at the time. however I paid everything in full & was given a key to the place, the person doing and inspection for on the flat before handing over the key, just checked lights, water, plugs & cupboards, there after we took over the Flat.

first month of occupation, I called them for a water leak in the kitchen, and the bathroom, I was told I was going to pay for the repairs because everything was fine, I refused to pay and asked for the owner to come sort out the poor workmanship as I haven't even used the kitchen properly yet, because we just moved in. ok, they agreed to send someone out, they fixed it and realised it was the plumbers fault ever since then, I have been complaining to them about the water leaking in the bathroom and is leaking through the wall, i even took pics for them to see the leak is not from inside the house, but all of this is happening within the first 3 months of moving in the flat. and yet again they asked me to pay for their poor workmanship, I had no choice but to pay it as they deduct the rent from the bank account.

I had no intention whatsoever of renewing our lease agreement with Huizemark as they don't do business fairly even though they have a lease agreement in place.

Here is the sad part, and I now understand why they asked me for double deposit on everything.

The inspection date and time as per lease agreement & communications with the property ambassador was on 30 October 2020 Friday, we where at the premises the whole day waiting for someone to come view & inspect, after the whole Friday has went, the lady calls back to say can we please do the inspection tomorrow being Saturday the 31 October 2020, we agreed and yet again, no one showed up to inspect, we were rather told to leave the key with the security and they will come collect the keys and check the next day being the 1 November 2020. I was not comfortable with that, but I still did as they said cause the last thing I will want is for them to charge us more money for occupation yet we waited for them.

To my surprise, we were called to say our deposit is not being refunded as the property is not the way it should be, i was told the Stove is not working, don't ask me how does that happen, because we cook with a Gas Stove, and some few other things we were told is not the way it should have been. the sad part is, I don't think they realised that I have already paid for the Bathroom problem which was not mine, and they ended of telling me the problem was with the plumbers not doing the job properly... same time I asked for my money back which they charged me for their once again poor workmanship, to date I'm still waiting for them.

So yes All, it will be one of the worst decision you can make to deal or do business with Huizemark.

Today is 25 November 2020, and just letting you'll know i have now asked my lawyers to take up the problem, and we have still not received any funds whatsoever or any communication from owners on how we moving for.

please guy's. I understand you need a place to stay and may like a flat, but please don't, I repeat, don't make the same mistake I made... remember 2 x deposit for everything was the first eye opener I should have picked up, but I was blinded by the way they do things... rather call me to assist you in finding something than to take up an offer from them.
