26th October 2019, my family and I decided to celebrate my mom's birthday over breakfast at Hudsons. Unfortunately, our experience was not a great one. We waited an hour for our food, even though the place was not full at all. Tables that were seated after we arrived received their food and drinks before we did. My grandparents ordered coffee and tea, they recieved their drinks without any sugar or milk. Even though we kindly asked the waiters to bring the items, the didn't. Only after complaining had they recieved it. By then the coffee and tea was cold. We ordered water for the table in the meantime, since we waited so long for our food. The water also took an hour. They probably had to pump the the ****ing water out of the ground before we got it. By the time we were done with our breakfast, they only then brought our toast - something we asked for on numerous occasions. The waiters literally put their trays on our table, while serving other tables that arrived after us. Customers that had arrived after us, left before us with full bellies and smiles on their faces while we were sitting and wondering why we weren't being served.

I must say it was a disgusting experience. I usually don't bring these issues up, as SA has been scorned by it in the past - it just so happens that we were the only coloured table in the restaurant and the only table that was receiving this treatment. I will not support a company that encourages such behavior - and I would advise others not to as well.
