Batteries not keeping to the same state of charge

I added a second Hubble AM-2 a month after the first. The issue I found was that the two batteries where not staying at the same level of charge. After charging both to 100% during the day there would be a disparity of 10% by the evening. This caused the inverter to switch between charging the battery and discharging it constantly.

I contacted Hubble support via email and received a call a few minutes later. A firmware update was recommended for both batteries. Software was emailed to me, the cable was provided free but I had to collect it from the Cape Town office. I arranged for my own courier to collect it.

The update process was simple and the batteries have been behaving since then.

Even though there was a problem, the after sales support from Hubble resolved this issue in a timely manner. Well done to them.
