Why is Huawei's default fault to be repaired at my cost?
Good day. I sent my phone in for repairs as the front camera stopped working. This is no fault of mine. It seems like a factory fault. I then recieved a quotation for a screen repair? The service centre sssCellular said they only do full repairs and not partial repairs. I bought this phone in April. I took it into the Melrose arch repair centre and walked out as the service was terrible, everybody was pretending like they cant assist me or I was disturbing them. I was in there for 20 minutes before I was attended to by somebody who seemingly couldn't help me despite nobody else being assisted at the time. I decided not to be rude and took a decision to leave and book it in via high care. Now I'm basically being told that my phone cant be repaired because a full repair is needed. I was under the impression that I get a full repair within the first year as this is what I was told when I bought the phone in April. Secondly I cant get my phone repaired because they cant fix my camera without the screen being fixed? This makes no sense. Yesterday I was also told that a manager would call me back from the service centre. I am still waiting. Today I called the call centre and was told a manager would call me back too. Is there no solution to my problem? Why am I incurring costs through a fault of Huawei? I did not break the camera, the camera stopped working on it's own, therefore it should be repaired and not at my expense.
