Well known Huawei P8 Lite issue not being addressed

There is an acknowledged and well-known issue with the P8 Lite no longer connecting to Wifi/Bluetooth. It started around a year ago when an EMUI "user experience" update was forced upon me. These updates masquerade as security updates, but are bloated (last one is 86MB - almost 5% of the total space of the phone) and seem to achieve little other than crippling the phone. This is a known issue as there are repairmen that know how to fix it by replacing a chip. Other methods seem to point to repair methods using menu options that unfortunately do not work or are not available on my phone. I have wasted hours of time trying to sort this out. Huawei should have done a recall and upgraded the phones or posted a firmware update that sorts this out as a priority, rather than security updates. I'm giving them two stars because the rest of the phone works pretty well - but ****** sort this out Huawei!!
