Unwanted Marketing Emails from Huawei

I'm frustrated! I had a Huawei phone for 2 years. It was a good phone but I got another package with another brand when I upgraded at the end of the 2 years. I can't even remember getting marketing emails from Huawei at the time but I've started getting weekly recently. There is no UNSUBSCRIBE link at the bottom of these emails. Only this message; If you prefer not to receive marketing emails from Huawei Mobile Services, you can change this by going to Settings > HUAWEI ID > Privacy center > Receive messages on your device I cannot follow these instructions because I do not have a Huawei device anymore! I tried calling their customer service to explain this and ask to be removed from the mailing list. I had to repeat myself 3 times only to be told there is nothing they can do if I don't remember my huawei ID (something I NEVER used). The lady who took my call said I must just delete the emails. In South Africa a new POPI act is currently being implemented to protect personal information and give the individual the choice whether or not they want to receive marketing material. This would definately not be in line with the new regulation.
