Sub-standard device

<p>I bought a Huawei P8 light. It has been about 8 month and 1 day the touch pad just started freezing and it would reboot itself almost every 30 sec. I booked it in for repairs and today i get a notification with a quote for repairs - the quote is almost the original price of the . I called in to inqure why the cost of repairs is not covered with the warranty. </p> <p>The lady expalined that the warranty has been voided vecause of water damage. My cellphone has never fel into water or been close to water. So their argument was that even if i use the cellphone at a place where there is steam/ too hot like the kitchen it can cause water damage. Obviously, i have used the cellphone in th ekitchen but, who hasn't? If the phone can have water damage by just being in the kitchen then the quality must be very bad. </p> <p> </p> <p>right now i'm not sure if the water damage thing is just an excuse they use to waive the warranty, because clearly i can't prove that i have never used the phone i the kitchen, or their cellphone's are just too bad. Mxm.</p>
