Software/Hardware issue - Deeply disgusted

<p>I recently bought a Huawei P9 lite privately. I am not a phone guru so really only know the basics. I attempted to do a software update and now the phone does not start up. I called Hauwei Service Centre in Canal walk, Cape Town. The booked the phone in and then sent me an email with a quote. I explained to the gentleman (Jacques) at the service centre that I dont know what was done on the phone. He didnt mention anything regarding the software voiding the warrantly. The quote stated that the motherboard has to be replaced. I dont know how software messed up the motherboard but okay. </p> <p> </p> <p><br />I have NEVER had issues like this with any of my other android phones or their service on repairs etc. </p> <p> </p> <p><br />I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HUAWEI PRODUCT AGAIN AND I WILL SPREAD THE WORD REGARDING MY EXPERIENCE ESPECIALLY WITH THE HAUWEI SERVICE CENTRE IN CANAL WALK, CAPE TOWN. </p>
