Poor service, costs are high

I was quoted 8092.2 to repair my p30 pro. Really disappointing because they said the damage on the phone was made by liquid so it is deemed out of warranty. I don’t remember my phone ever falling into deep water and also the phone is supposed to be ip68 water resistant which means it can handle light water exposure. Huawei is a waste of time they don’t even bother to call or send an email after submitting your device for repairs you basically have to call them every to check your status
