Phone ****** while in Huawei Repairs

Never ever have I dealt with a more unprofessional, disorganised, dishonest company in my life. Huawei Mobile I am more than disappointed I am discussed! I took my brand new 2 week old gold Huawei P10 in a cover to your Melrose branch for a screen repair because you were unable to do collection as your systems were down and I was instructed that Melrose is the only service centre in JHB. 7 days later I received an SMS telling me my device was ready for collection. I drove to Melrose to collect my phone and was met by a very rude service agent who didn't even look up from the computer screen and said your device is not here. I explained it was because the SMS for collection had been recieved. She then said it's at Bedfordview, so I asked for the address so I could collect my phone. She said there was no need it would be delivered to me the next morning. She said a customer care agent would call me. No surprise! I never got a call so I called customer care and was told that the systems were down so my device could not be traced but they were manually investigating it, and would escalate the issue and revert back to me. No surprise I never heard back so I have called everyday asking someone to please just tell me where my device is so I can collect it. No one could tell me. I'm so sick of hearing that the system is down. Eventually on Friday afternoon, yesterday, I managed to speak to a supervisor who informed me that my device was at Huawei Melrose and ready for collection. I drove all the way back there this morning and it's not close to where I stay. Walked in with my job card in hand ready to collect my phone and was told there are currently no devices awaiting collection. Once I gave my name the gentlemen, who refused to give me his name, said oh you should have said your name as he proceeded to the back to 'get my device'. When walked back out he had a black P10 in his hand. I then informed him that was not my phone. He said he has been instructed to give me this phone because they cannot locate my phone. To which I rep**** that I was not informed about this, I was told MY device was ready for collection. I then said well if this is a replacement device why isn't it in a box because it's a completely new device with new IME, he rep**** that they had to take it out the packaging to test. So I said test what, I'm confused. I then asked to look at this phone in his hand only to see it full of scratches, dents etc. It was evidently an old phone that had never even been in a phone cover and mistreated. He also wanted me to sign a document accepting ownership of this device as mine. I asked the gentlemen if I looked stupid! I refused to take the phone and stormed out. I immediately called the customer care for the hundredth time and after speaking to yet another call centre agent and telling the story all over again, the agent apologised for my bad experience as they all do and said it's because all the devices sent in for repair have been ******. Ummm what!! ******!! So my brand new phone was ****** while in the trusted hands of Huawei Enterprise South Africa and I was not informed, I was just **** to and given the run around by Huawei for weeks!! This is disgusting!!! Then on top of that the company tries to cheat me by giving me a phone that's not mine and isn't the phone attached to the Vodacom contact taken out. That is ***** Huawei!!! You were trying to perform an ******* transaction and mislead the customer. Absolutely pathetic that a so called corporate company of your magnitude is operating in such a way. Due to this I will be laying a case against Huawei.

Had you dealt with this in the correct matter, informed the consumer that the device had unfortunately been ****** in your possession and that you would need to replace the device with a new one you would not be in this position.

I am so sick of calling your customer care on a daily basis. I expect a new gold Huawei P10 sealed in packing provided to me by your company to compensate me by no later than Monday the 31st of August.
