Misleading/incorrect/false sales information (battery sale)
Ordered a batter Tuesday, 14 June 2022. Get notified it was shipped. Contact Huawei Friday (web chat on their website), get informed that it would be couriered to me latest Monday afternoon. Monday morning, still no tracking number, again chat with someone (web chat on their website). Then get completely different feedback that the battery was never shipped to me, that it must be installed at a service centre. Never communicated to me in any correspondence. Also get told, taking note that I have already paid for the battery, that they must check if they have stock and where I can get it installed. A "manager" calls to tell me that my only options is to drive a long distance into Sandton and take my phone in for a battery replacement. Cannot tell me how long, if this can be done while I wait, no nothing. Also offers to fetch my phone, but then I don't have a phone, used for business, all day. Also, cannot call to check up on them if they don't keep to their promises and take longer (expected after the shockingly bad service thus far). As their information has been wrong for the past week, I don't have a clue what to expect. I told this so-called manager that I cannot be without a phone, that my invoice states the battery has been shipped and I am holding them to this. He starts telling me my opinion about their process issues. Then puts the phone down on me. It is a useless company. Stephen Kebibone is the man I dealt with, of no help whatsoever and no respect for customers.
