misinformed!!

so i went into the MTN store to get my upgrade on the 1st of May. and i had to choose between the S10 and Huawei pro30. after debating in my head i decided to go with the pro30. having not been one of the first how much ever people there was nothing on offer as an extra with the device. whilst at the counter the Hauwei representative of the store came to the counter, and the clerk assisting me asked if she had no free gifts she could give as i have taken the phone on my upgrade. she then says i can get free wireless earphones. she asks me to write my details down and advises me that it would take 5 working days. today is the 5th working day so i follow up find out what the expected arrival date is of the earphones. i was then advised actually it took 5 days for a portal to open to put a request in for the earphones, and actually it takes 30 days max for the earphones to come!! what the heck is the portal!!! and why on earth was this not explained on the day. all she said was it would take 5 working days! so obviously im going to expect it in 5 working days - not 30! very upsetting. if the above had been explained correctly then i would not be upset. but 5 days and 30 days is a very big difference!
