Long wait for repair

On the 16th of July i took in my phone for repairs at huawei melrose arch, the device was booked in and confirmed to be under warranty. 2 months have passed without my phone, today i got an email that finally my device is ready for collection, i quickly drove to the store only to be told that my device still not repaired as warranty expired while they were waiting for the replacement part. This is not my fault when i handed over device 2 months ago it was under warranty now im told i need to wait for huawei approval. This is very poor service. 2 months now and counting with my phone.
