Huwei P10 lite Bluetooth isues

I purchased a new Huawei P10 lite from Takealot.com in early October 2017. Based on the specifications it appeared to have everything that I required in a smartphone to replace my ageing Samsung S4. It has a good spec processor, camera, memory, Blue tooth etc.

However what they don't tell you anywhere in the documentation is that the Huawei Blue tooth is not compatible with the Blue tooth of many other manufacturers. I have a JBL Flip 3 speaker which connects just fine with my Samsung. It does not connect to the Huawei P10 lite at all. When I contacted the Huawei Call Centre they said it was a compatibility problem and their solution was for me to buy a Huawei Blue tooth speaker and basically throw away my JBL!! If I knew about this problem before purchasing the phone I probably would have bought a Samsung instead.

I think Huawei need to warn potential purchasers of the compatibility issues so that if Blue Tooth connectivity is an important consideration, the potential purchaser can ensure that their Blue ttooth device actually works with the phone as Huawei don't seem interested in fixing the problem.
