Huawei Store - Zero Product Knowledge

The Huawei store in Somerset Mall tried to sell me a 2019 P30 Lite, which has significantly reduced features than the current 2020 model. They have no product knowledge, and had I not gone home to fetch my bank card, I would have paid for it. This is ridiculous. How can they not know that they are selling old items for new prices.

They also had no idea of stock availability, whereas I got those answers within five minutes outside in my car. This is just shocking. Why pay a premium to buy from these no-knowledge specialists when I can buy off dealers on Gumtree for 25% less. No, not good enough. The information is available for free and easily, lockdown or not. Imagine I bought last years model for the price of the latest one, which has 40% better performance.
