Huawei shy about giving a price on a batter

When I bought my Huawei MediaLite 5 some time ago, I was thrilled with the service. I had some questions and they were answered quickly and accurately. However, I now need a new battery. WHAT a performance. I've called twice (you can't speak to people in-store)and having held on for ages, I was told that they can't give me a price on a battery. I have to take my tablet into a store and they'll tell me when I place an order. I can't believe it's so difficult to answer such a simple request! Needless to say, I won't be buying another Hauwei, tablet or cellphone!
